OUR FARMS
Our cranberries are cultivated near the freezing plant. More than 1,000 acres or 400 hectares of land allow us to cultivate over 25 million pounds (11.4 million kilograms) of cranberries annually. We ensure the traceability and complete control of our fruit to offer a safe, singular, and quality product. From our fields to you!
OUR PROCESS
Reception
Reception and separation of the fruits in the pools.
Sieving
Removal of foreign matter and plant material like vines and branches.
Cleaning
Cleaning of the fruits with water and an organic sanitizer.
Air blowing
Removing moisture from the fruits with a blower on high power, at room temperature.
Weighing
Checking the exact weight and packaging the fruits.
Labeling
Apllying on the label with identification and traceability codes.
Freezing
Freezing and storing of the fruit at –18 °C.
Sieving
Removal of foreign matter and plant material like vines and branches.
Metal detector
Detection and removal of any undesirable metal particles.
Blower cleaner
Removal of broken cranberries and any remaining plant matter.
Magnet
Powerful magnet eliminating the smallest remaining metal particles.
Optical detector and visual inspection
Electronic detection and sorting by shape and colour on the inspection table.
Calibrating and slicing (optional)
Sorting of the fruit according to size and slicing if desired.
Weighing and packing
Weighing and packaging of the fruit.
Metal detector
Final metal detection of individual and boxes of fruits.
Labeling and palletizing
Labelling of the final product according to the regulation and your needs, palletizing. Return to the freezer.
